Today we propose you an idea of exit. The Black Indians exhibition available at the Quai Branly museum until January 15th 2023.
This exhibition traces the colonization of New Orleans and the struggle of the oppressed people through the culture including Mardi Gras.
"Through a geographical and chronological journey marked by interviews, contemporary costumes and traditional works, the exhibition reveals a singular culture, built by more than three centuries of resistance against the onslaught of social and racial domination, still present today. "
Afrikasia was able to discover incredible costumes related to this beautiful culture.
